.New REALTOR ® members are granted provisional REALTOR ® membership upon joining the association, with the understanding that they will complete the following requirements within the specified time frames. Failure to complete any of these within the time frames may result in membership termination. NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. Don't be late! Late arrivals will be turned away. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Orientation MUST be attended within the first two (2) times it is offered after joining.

Take the REALTOR ® Code of Ethics New Member Orientation Course online within 90 days after joining the LAR. This free on-line course covers the National Association of REALTORS ® Code of Ethics that all members agree to abide by. Attend You Mean Contracts Must Be Written? - three (3) hour CE contracts course on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. New members must RSVP to so that we will have enough materials made.Contact Cade Fowler, Association Executive, with questions about these requirements.Five one thousand dollar ($1,000) scholarships were awarded to full time students pursuing higher education at Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and South Plains College for the 2017-2018 school year. Over twenty applications were submitted but unfortunately, the Foundation does not have the resources to award scholarships to all applicants.
